The crisis enters the military forces

The Greek Minister of Defense has suddenly decided to replace the four Military leaders.

As reported on Tuesday, the Minister of Defense called the GEETHA leader Air Chief Marshal Yannis Yiangos, GES leader Lieutenant General Frangos Frangoulis and GEA leader Lieutenant Vasilis Klokozas and announced them that they are going to be replaced. According to information, the new leaders will be:

Lieutenant General Michalis Kostarakos as new GEETHA leader, former commander of the 3rd army corps
Lieutenant General Konstantinos Zazias as new GES leader, former commander of the 4th army corps
Air Marshall Antonis Tsantirakis as new GEA leader, former commander of the Tactical Air Force and
Rear Admiral Kosma Christidis as new GEN leader former chief of Staff of the Fleet Command of the Hellenic Navy.

It is quite strange why Mr. Beglitis choose the specific time period to make these important replacements in the Army, with with Greece on the brink of national elections.
