@Tommy………….. Democracy that our Greek ancestors developed gives everyone the right to express their opinion. I did not attack anyone personally nor intend to. You are welcome to your comments. In regards to “Motorhead” you may have to educate me on who they are. I am proud 78 year old pensioner that was born in Greece, did my national service in Greece and care very much about recent developments there. Facts are facts my friend, politicians ,doctors, singers etc have brought Greece to its current financial woes thru tax evasion. I wish you good health and a good future.

Just want to say that we lost one of the greatest singers of all times. May he rest in peace! For the clown that stated that he is to blame for the down fall of the Greek economy. You’re an idiot and you should seek help , your a miserable loner and hater. Get your life together and stick to listening to Motörhead. More than likely, all posters on this article are Greek expats like myself. Mitropanos was a great singer however let us put things into perspective. He is one of hundreds of Greek singers that paid no tax and helped bring Greece to it’s current state of affairs.He lived a wonderful life singing all the way to the bank while we struggled to adopt to our new homelands. May he truly rest in peace.I am more concerned however for the people that struggle in Greece on a daily basis for survival.
